authorization. We use that information to prepare your personal income tax returns and may
also use it to provide various tax and financial planning services to you at your request.

In order to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with
professional guidelines, we retain records relating to the professional services that we
provide you. We have rigorous physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in place to
protect these records, and they are accessed internally only on an 'as-needed' basis.
Permitted Sharing of Information
As a general rule, we do not disclose or discuss personal information about our
clients except as required or provided by law. Permitted disclosures include:
- enforceable subpoenas or summons as a part of legal proceedings or alternative dispute
resolution proceedings
- state or national licensing board reviews, and
- third parties who assist us in providing services to you, such as CCH Incorporated, the
vendor providing us with our tax compliance software, Prosystem fx Tax. CCH has released

Closed account provisions
These privacy policies and practices apply to closed accounts and former clients as
well as current clients.
